The Galaxy Awaits
????, ????. Everything is a blur. I can see outlines of figures standing above me…carrying me. I can make out large orange and yellow blazes, fires spreading all through the complex. I hear a voice yelling to me, and then it all hits me. I half-wake up and realize that I had been knocked out during the carnage and am being dragged to safety by Lykos himself. He says we have to evacuate the space station, as The Shadow had found us, had found the last centurion.

Lykos said they murdered Elias and tore him apart. A retreat was enacted at once following this horrific incident and we were fleeing for our lives. In the attack, the enemy had destroyed The Sotiras and so we had to flee on my ship. Fitting, I know. As we sprinted towards The Phoenix, the Shadow warriors closed in behind us.

Time was running out and we had to evacuate or we’d all die. Not sixty seconds goes by before half of Lykos’ troops are demolished. It’s only him, about 6 others, and then me. We board The Phoenix and I turn on its engines while Lykos is shooting at the Shadow from the entrance bay. We seal the doors shut and fly off.

Lykos sounds mortified, I don’t blame him. It seems like we’re back to square one…except we have a terrible enemy force trying to wipe us off the face of the universe. As we head off into the nothingness…only the galaxy awaits…
